Sepia Sunday ?

Sorry folks, I am a day late, but hey, I`m here !! The pic above is moi and my darling Dad on my wedding day in 1973 - oh so young and unworldly-wise I was, not quite 20 and thank heavens I didn`t have a crystal ball to foresee what the years to come were going to bring or I would have started running !! But that is heaps more stories, watch this space . . .

Welcome to sepia Saturday! Well done! How lovely you look. And oh yes it is quite scary thinking back how we were so full of dreams we were. Look forward to more!

Looking forward to those other stories. Great to have you with us on Sepia Saturday or, if you wish, Sepia Sunday. There are no rules over here.

A great photo. I was married in 72 and it does seem like I have grown up 10 times more than when on that day.

Thanks all for the kind comments - yes, it is like afew lifetimes away that day - much water has flowed under the proverbial bridge since then - most of it calm with some stormy bits . . .

Well, I wasn't at your wedding, but I do remember you looking just like that :)

Our wedding was in February of the same year - but I'd have to go look at the certificate to remember the actual day!

Wonderful photo. Maybe only in NZ would a bride have a great fur lined hood like that. I love it!

Beautiful bride! Gosh, those years (of marriage) do things to us, don't they? I was looking for family resemblance between you and your father. You probably look more like your mother, huh? Your bees -on your header- are amazing!

Yes, I agree you have been a lovely bride. It is good not to have a crystal ball, life would not be the same...boring...and the song goes..Je ne regrette rien...
we have 2 small hives on the house with the stingless, native Australian bee Trigona carbonaria. My husband used to be a beekeeper only as a hobby.
