I am a woman beekeeper in Aotearoa (NZ), I have been fascinated with bees for a long time and finally I have 2 hives on a city section surrounded by old fruit trees and flower gardens. I belong to the local Bee Club and the knowledge there I find indespensible. I also read and surf the beekeeping net for all the information I can find.I have discovered a passion !

Thank you for this lovely post, I do wish that I lived close enough to go to the Gardens often and experience through out the year, to see all the seasonal changes. Your photos are beautiful.
Beautiful pictures and something to be very proud of.....the first country to allow women to vote. Another reason to love NZ! Not that we need another reason to love your beautiful country. Thanks for the post.
The Magnolias are just starting to bloom here too.
Love those white sculptures! Icebergs or swans?
Thank you for visiting my blog, and leaving a comment. You certainly are lucky to work at the Gardens and what a greatjob you have.
